Welcome to Dapper Canary Vocal Studio — a professional singing and vocal coaching studio based in Lynnwood, Pretoria. Founded in 2022, we offer personalised one-on-one lessons for singers at every stage of their journey, from complete beginners to working performers. Most singing teachers can show you the notes. At Dapper Canary, your coach is an actively performing professional — a baritone with over fifteen years on the operatic and concert stage. That means the technique Chris teaches isn't theoretical. It's tested, refined, and drawn from real experience in front of real audiences. What to expect
Every lesson at Dapper Canary is one-on-one and built around your voice, your goals, and your current level. Sessions typically cover breathing and posture, vocal technique and tone development, repertoire work, and — where relevant — performance preparation. Chris takes a patient, structured approach that balances technical progress with the kind of encouragement that keeps you coming back. First lessons are often about getting to know your voice as much as anything else, so there's no need to prepare anything special before you arrive.

The studio is located at NG Kerk Lynnwood, 439 Sussex Avenue, Lynnwood, Pretoria — a quiet, accessible venue with parking available on site.
